Cookie Policy
Not the edible kind. Unfortunately.

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are used for a variety of purposes, ranging from keeping you logged in to tracking your every move across the internet and selling the data to advertisers. We do the first type. We do not do the second.
What we use
Mind the Gap uses only technically necessary cookies. These are cookies required for the site to function. There are no tracking cookies, no advertising cookies, and no third-party analytics cookies.
Specifically, our hosting infrastructure may set a session cookie to manage server-side requests. This cookie contains no personal information and is not used to identify you across sessions or across sites.
What we do not use
- Google Analytics or any equivalent tracking service
- Facebook Pixel or any social media tracking
- Advertising or retargeting cookies
- Any cookie that follows you beyond this site
We have no commercial interest in your browsing behaviour. We are not monetising your attention. The site exists because London transport is expensive and confusing, and someone had to say something about it.
Third-party requests
When you load the site, your browser may make requests to Google Fonts for typography. Google may set their own cookies in connection with these requests. Their privacy policy applies to those interactions.
How to manage cookies
You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Instructions vary by browser:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox:Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Since we only use technically necessary cookies, blocking them may affect the site’s basic functionality. It will not affect your ability to look at tube status, which will continue to be disappointing regardless.
Changes
If we introduce any new cookies — which we have no current intention of doing — we will update this page and the date above.
